Recycling Information
Place recycling at curb by 6am. We can not return for late put-outs.
Rinse and place together inside bin the following:
- Clear, colored and tinted glass bottles and jars
- Tin, steel and aluminum cans
- Plastic bottles and jars
Materials must be clean with no food contamination. Look for the resin identification code numbers 1-7 on the bottom of plastic containers. Save space by flattening plastic and metal cans.
No:
- plastic bags
- plate glass
- broken glass
- light bulbs
- toys
- ceramics
- lead crystal
- dishes
- shrink wrap
- Styrofoam
- aluminum foil
No:
- batteries
- paint
- aerosol cans
- motor oil
- chemical containers
Place together in a paper bag or other bin the following (do not mix with other recyclables):
- newspapers, including inserts
- magazines, catalogues and phone books
- mail and paperback books
- office paper
- shredded paper
- paper bags
- cardboard boxes (flatten and cut to 3'x3' or smaller)
No:
- soiled paper
- pizza boxes
- plastic bags
- wax- or plastic-coated boxes (i.e. milk cartons and freezer boxes)
- box liners (as found in cereal or cracker boxes)
